Yet producing it responsibly remains one of the defining sustainability challenges of our time, where growing investor scrutiny and shifting consumer expectations are fundamentally reshaping what responsible operations look like. For Apical, this is not a challenge to manage but a mandate to lead.
Our response is anchored in our commitment to No Deforestation, No Peat, and No Exploitation (NDPE), which guides responsible production and sourcing across our operations and supply chain. This commitment is underpinned by Sukanto Tanoto’s 5C philosophy—Community, Country, Climate, Customer, and Company—which shapes our approach to value creation, stakeholder engagement, and long-term sustainability. Together, these principles inform our Apical2030 targets and our role as a responsible business operator.
