                                            Dear Stakeholders,

                                            I am pleased to present

                                            Report. 2020 was truly an
                                            unprecedented year,
                                            with the ongoing global
                                            pandemic throwing the
                                            world off its course.
                                            At Apical, we remained
                                            true to our values and

                                            sustainability at the
                                            heart of everything we
                                            do to emerge stronger
                                            together.

               PRESIDENT’S

                                 STATEMENT

                                                                                     102-14

          Our Performance in 2020

To be able to meet the expected increase demand for palm
oil, we built a new refinery in Padang, West Sumatra which
started operating in October 2020 and expanded the
capacity of our PT Kutai Refinery Nusantara (KRN) in
Kalimantan. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the demand
for palm oil continued to grow and our team worked safely
to keep operations going and continue to serve our global
customers. As a result of these actions, we are pleased
to report a record year in terms of positive growth and the
quantity of palm oil and palm oil products handled, traded and
processed, which increased from 8.7 million tonnes in 2019
to 8.9 million tonnes in 2020.
