On 30 August 2022, an article published further information on a previously alleged non-compliance (NC) involving PT Cemerlang Abadi . The article states that the head of Aceh Barat Daya district, pledged to return 4695 acres of concession to local communities in the Pante Cermin village. It is further stated that PT Cemerlang Abadi is allegedly acting in defiance of a government order to return lands within its palm oil concession to local communities.
